Description
This course covers the subject of troubleshooting and the importance of proper maintenance procedures. It includes instruction on working with others, aids in communication, and trade responsibilities. It also outlines troubleshooting techniques and aids, using schematics and symbols and focuses on specific maintenance tasks, breakdown maintenance, and planned maintenance.
At the completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Describe proper troubleshooting and maintenance procedures
- Identify correct communication skills and trade responsibilities
- Use schematics and symbols in troubleshooting techniques
- Demonstrate this knowledge on a multiple choice final exam
Registration entitles students to course support. After passing the final exam the registered student will also receive an official Continuing Education Course Certificate of Completion that will be accepted by the New York State Department of Health Bureau of Water Supply Protection (BWSP) and Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC) for operator certification renewal.
