Description

This course covers the simple algebra required for day-to-day operation in an industrial environment: forming equations using simple numbers; rearranging equations so that one side equals zero; unknowns; setting up and solving equations with one unknown; changing multipliers and divisors; checking; and symbols other than X.
At the completion of this course, the student will be able to:

• Form equations using simple numbers
• Rearrange equations so that one side equals zero
• Solve for unknowns
• Change multipliers and divisors and symbols other than X
• Demonstrate this knowledge on a written, final exam including problems
