About SkillWorks, Inc.

Since 1998 SkillWorks, Inc. has been a small, family owned, distance learning training company serving the training needs of water and wastewater treatment plant operators. During that time we’ve administered over 12,000 paper-based continuing education correspondence courses for students licensed or certified within the United States as well as some licensed in other countries.

Our primary focus is to provide our students with State approved, high quality continuing education options that are flexible, convenient and competitively priced.

SkillWorks is currently an approved continuing education provider for water and wastewater treatment plant operators in California, Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Texas. We also have courses approved for Pennsylvania Sewage Enforcement Officers and Professional Engineers and Texas Backflow Prevention Assembly Testers, Onsite Sewage System Facility Operators, Water Treatment Specialists and Licensed Sanitarians. In Ohio, Pennsylvania and Texas, results are reported directly to the licensing authorities.

SkillWorks is accredited by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET). SkillWorks complies with the ANSI/IACET Standard, which is recognized internationally as a standard of excellence in instructional practices. As a result of this accreditation, SkillWorks is authorized to issue the IACET CEU.
